Note: It was decided that next month’s theme will be trees, in general, and some may want to read another excellent book on tree and forest communication and community, The Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard. She is one of the first botanists to observe and do experiments that show the interactive cooperation among trees and the benefits of diverse species in community.
